Week One of Transformation!

We saw quite a bit of progress in week one! Rain, rain and some more rain slowed down the project a bit, but they have almost finished removing the old family room. Tuesday it should be completely gone. Here are a few photos from Friday.

Our Remodel Begins! 5-22-12

This is the family room (aka "scary room") before the remodel. The room was a porch at one point. It doesn't have any heat or air so it's really not usable space. The windows start at the floor and are just under six feet tall. It will be replaced with a new family room with heat, air, windows that match the rest of the house, a fire place and hopefully hardwood floors.

This is day one of demolition. Amazing how much progress was made in a few short hours! I can't wait to see the finished space!

My model is 5'9"ish. This shows how awkward the windows are in this room!
